Silver award at RoSPA Health and Safety Awards

Whitemountain has achieved a Silver Award at the internationally renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards.

The Company have received the prestigious award in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping its staff, and contractors get home safely at the end of the working day.

RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are the longest–running industry awards scheme in the UK. The Whitemountain team will be presented with the award during a ceremony at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Mike Kelly, Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager said, “We are delighted to receive this award in recognition of our hard work and commitment to health and safety. We have introduced many new health and safety initiatives in the past year. These are producing positive results and have increased observation reporting amongst staff, which is a very positive step in lowering accidents in the workplace.”
