Ballymartin Waste Repatriation

Contract Name: CPD Minor Works, Down & Armagh - Site: Pats Road, Ballymartin, Co. Down

Whitemountain has completed a project for the removal and repatriation of 14,000 cubic metres of mixed non-hazardous waste, which had been deposited in Ballymartin near Kilkeel.

The work also included the on-going management and removal of groundwater leachate from the waste deposit during excavation, continuous monitoring of potential gas and environmental issues, as well as final reinstatement of the site.
