Sub-Bases
GRANULAR SUB-BASE (GSB) is a graded granular material, usually a 'hard rock' .
SUB-BASE is a load spreading layer, especially during construction, carrying site traffic and protecting the Subgrade of a Road.
The SUB-BASE can also act as a drainage layer with reduced fines content to improve the drainage properties of the material.
Granular Sub-Base can also be used to make up foundation or floor levels of buildings, car parks and other pavements.
