A Level Students visit White Mountain

04 February 2009

A group of "A" Level pupils from St. Colms High School in Twinbrook recently visited White Mountain Quarry as part of their Applied Science studies.

The 6th form class was given a guided tour of the Quarry and Roadmix's concrete batching plant by Area Manager, Glenn Henry. The focus of the class was "Man's Effect on the Environment".

During the tour the students were shown the Environmental practices employed on the site during day to day operations.
