The final phase of the enabling works for the Omagh Enhanced Local Hospital for the Western Health & Social Care Trust has now concluded. Whitemountain Quarries successfully completed this five months ahead of schedule and on budget.

The project comprised of the construction of 1,100m of two and three lane carriageway including a new bridge over the Camowen River, footways and cycleways alongside the road, alterations to existing road junctions, installation of street lighting and statutory services and earthworks.

Minister Edwin Poots and the Chairman of the Western Trust, Gerard Guckian visited the site and were impressed with the progress.
